literally i loooooooved new leaf so much it was so much fun. i dont hate the game, just never got the time for it. I've migrated from handheld to pc gaming basically, and i have a low patience with a slowpaced game like horizons and i'm just not the free-time kid i once was.
i proceed to play it for three weeks, get bored, and immediately go back to my pc games. I'm a HUGE fan of the ac series, i remembered that i plugged hundreds of hours into my new leaf save and when new horizons was announced i was HYPED. how unnecessarily difficult it is at times so I can't give an in-depth opinion but It's like what I said with spyro but 1000x and considering I'm a completionist It makes me wanna pull my hair out everytime I play it lmao. I haven't played it that much compared to spyro because of just. Some had it worse than others but it was still there and strong enough to make me on edge.Ĭrash: It's About Time This one was a gift from my mom and It's literal hell to play and complete. It's a stupid nitpick of something I'm normally fine with but idk for some reason they had this strange aura around them that made me uncomfortable everytime they appeared. I have my limits with hard games and spyro went over that limit for me.Īlso, the adult dragons look like a straight-up furry made them. I'm fine with difficult games don't get me wrong, I like that dopamine hit of beating a hard level/boss but I'm also not gonna spend actual months trying to beat a final boss that's near impossible to beat.
and it quickly turned into one of the most stressful games I've ever played. I got it for my birthday last year and I'll admit It was fun at first, but then I got to the treetops map. but I've wanted to play a classic spyro/TLOS game for a looooooooonnng time because I was told that it was this amazing groundbreaking really fun game and yada yada yada for literal years. inner sourness and resentment towards classic spyro/TLOS fans and the series as a whole. I found my love for spyro and the franchise through skylanders so my disappointment with the game might've been based on nostalgia and/or just. Spyro: Reignited Trilogy This is kinda controversial but I'm really disappointed with this one.
All of this was fine when it got constant updates at least but it's been pretty much abandoned. The previous features have been completely gutted and the charm it once had has been sucked away and now that the game is heavily neglected, my regret has gotten stronger by the month. It's stressful to build up your island which is the only thing the game is now, Online features are very limited which doesn't make the experience any better, it makes it worse actually. Idk what to say other than it's literally an empty husk of what AC once was, with nothing to do after maybe 5 months at most. Animal Crossing: New Horizons I've (sorta) played city folk with my family when I was a small kid so this was my first real full hands-on personal experience with an AC game.
